I've stayed in Cape town, South Africa for 3 months. I worked on volontary basis in a childrens hospital and in a soupkitchen for homeless people.  It was really interesting and rewarding work at both places. When I didn't do my volontaring I was at the beach, did some shopping, relaxed with friends or out parting. I've met lots of different peolpe during my stay in Cape Town and made many new friends.  I also did some travelling around South Africa and I took a trip to Zimbabwe.During my stay in South Africa I really feel in love with the country and I didn't feel homesick one minute. A big reason til that is that I stayed my three months in Helene Dollman house in Plumsted, she really made me enjoy my stay and feel at home. A really nice and relaxed atmosphere. She is full of fun and took my out lots of time and made me get around. Great food, nice house and you get to know other students or volontars staying there. If u do get to Cape Town and stay with Helene you must go with her to the famous Pubqiuz.. You will see when you get there.. I can only really recomend you to go to South africa, you won't regret it!
