I stayed with Helene for two months, while I was doing volunteer work. To stay with a host family, is ideal if you want to learn about the lifestyle and the “real” South Africa.

To stay with Helene is even more ideal, because she know a lot about South African history and because she happily share that knowledge.

Helene is an incredibly warm and nice person who does everything to make you feel at home, so after a short time you will start to consider Holmdene Road 8 as you South African home.

So go and stay with Helene that would be the best thing you’ve ever done. It’s the absolute best thing I’ve ever done.
